I have had great difficulty in getting Mazdaspeed to even recognize that I rallycross, in the past. It always ends up being a 45 minute phone call. I haven't gotten any contingency from them since 2012, no indications as to why not.
That said, I took the Mazdaspeed vinyl off the front this year because it was peeling very badly and looked hideous. What you're seeing is a weird cross-fade effect where the clearcoat is and isn't peeled off, there is no decal present.
