I tried playing with the brightness and exposure of the lead photo to try and squeak out any more details, but it didn't seem to reveal much of anything:
I've now seen three of the 90's era Alpines at some local car events and am reminded how much that design appeals to me.
IMO the A290 is all that matters Appx. 200hp, 200mi range, in something approximately the size of an 80s Golf.

The F1 team, I do not think he is involved with the production cars.
He's been doing a whirlwind of business and sports related stuff, I am kind of impressed.
Ryan Reynolds is like Shaq, in that you think they're wealthy from what they're most known for (movies, sports) but in truth own tons of businesses. Shaq even got business degrees before basketball.

It's not really a controversy. One is absolutely correct, one is not. There will be a lot of people who mispronounce it at first, but just like I learned to say La Croix like someone from Wisconsin, people will eventually learn that the correct pronunciation is Al-peen.
