Whenever I see these announcements they always end up being Jap exclusives. I think i've only been surprised when it's come to Toyota though with the GR Corolla actually giving us the special edition of that car so maybe i'll end up being surprised again.

I was hoping to find a confirmation of "we are selling these in the U.S.," but it certainly seems like Toyota plans to sell these in the United States with how the press releases are worded. I'll be sure to offer updates as soon as I get them.
I understand why Toyota can't actually say it, but I'm pretty sure that the lines "GR Supra 45th Anniversary Edition Pays Tribute to Custom MkIV Supra" and "As an ode to the 1990’s models," Toyota is referring to this MkIV Supra:

You know what be newsworthy? Nissan announcing they might actually build a few base model, stick shift cars and you can get one.
I was waffling a bit on buying a Circuit GR Corolla, but I think the mounting bolt change for the battery ground might be enough to sway me!
