I told the wife, "I could not build it for that price.....", and she did not respond.... I think there is a chink in the armor!

A Javelin's perspective would only be seeing it from the rear.

Y'all forget I'm a PCA Member, former Porsche owner, and a confessed Porsche convert? I love me some 993, but that car is uglier than a damn Gremlin! (Coming from an AMC owner, natch).
Oh, and, witty comeback: Not in a drag race, baby!

At the risk of backlash...
Preggo bikini level of attraction?
It's um... I don't know... I guess there are other race cars I'd rather have for that much money... pretty much any race car...

Javelin, I take that back. This contender would certainly give it a run for its money. Now could I build that for $80,000......I think so.....maybe?
1971 AMC Trans Am Javelin - $80000 (Dawsonville GA.)

This is my restorded 1971 AMX/Javelin restored as a full rotisseri restoration. It has been highly detailed to look as the famous PENSKE race car that just dominated the SCCA Trans Am races in 1971 driven by Mark Donahue. Powered by a AMC 401. Backed by a Richmond Doug Nash 4+1 5 speed and pushing well over 400 Horse power. The car is made to SCCA requirements and can be driven on the street. Car has 300 street driven miles on it as of this posting. Way to much to list as to it's history. Not a home made car or wanna be. This is serious top of the line car offered here. Please serious inquires only and I have history and all receipts from the start. Many photos from start to what is shown here. Thank You for looking. (561)213-4848 Please scammers, Don't even bother as I will not return any inquires and turn you over to the law. May take a trade and money. Selling car to pay for new garage I had built.
