Sure next time I go I'll grab some, there is 30 sections, 5x5 cars deep usually, isles, signs in front of each bunch of cars, computer inventory and maps up front that they print off so they can circle the location of whatever you're trying to find!
Wow sounds easy to find parts there. Almost defeats the purpose I'd think though, part of the fun is the hunt.
Well you still have to walk forever. I found a short shifter in an eg civic for a buddy last time, got it for $10, found a dc sports shifter for an accord too, the last yard I went to was more unorganized.. 2 tr7's, a 2002, a 80 celica supra, fb rx7s,
I cant stand junkyards like the one OP pictured. Down here they are organized by make and size, lined up in nice rows on real stands that let you get to almost anything, on gravel with no grass allowed (4 different poisonous snakes in my area), etc.
If you ask them they will even find the vehicle you want in the yard on their inventory computer and give you a map of the yard with the car's location circled.
