Part of the fun of trips the local wrecking yard is checking out the cars. I found some strange stuff today, so I thought I'd share.
First I came across an early 90's Mazda 626,non-turbo base model. What caught my eye was that it appeared to have pieces of threaded rigid pipe sticking out of the hubs? Next was a first for me. I've been working on DSM's for a long time, and thought I'd seen just about everything. This was the first time I saw a FWD conversion of an AWD car... The stock comlpete AWD rear subfame was sitting inside the car.

Who will be the first to correctly name this car? It was pretty much complete and very solid looking. What appears as rust in the pics is actually old paint or primer where the white paint has come off.
