Ok, car stuff out of the way first....dirt cheap Lotus Esprit body for someone to turn into the ultimate challenge car, Lemons entry, etc. And if you look at the seller's other items he has a bitchin' DKW hot rod as well (I really like this guy)

But seriously...scroll through the photos in this ad. Is that a SUBMARINE in this dude's backyard?

Here is the DKW. Also in the pictures, I see a Lotus and a Delorean.
I want to meet this guy.
Multiple, Lotuseses, a Delorean, DKW, a Cortina?, and a potential submarine? (all seen looking through his DKW and Esprit shell auctions). He must be on this board. And what is that primered van behind the DKW, or that shiny black car?

Yeah, that was actually the semi ironic part. When it was first posted by a friend as a potential Lemons car I said only if it was done up like the subarine in Bond. Later we noticed the backyard sub. And yes this dude has a yard full of interesting stuff and we should be friends. I believe fate has put us on opposite sides of the country to prevent all the awesome from putting the country out of balance.

2 points for you

Circling back around because I knew I had seen these before but couldn't remember the name. It's a Phoenix kit for a VW bug.
Wow - that's not too far from me and the trip up to Granite Falls is really pretty. If anyone on this board really needs that Lotus body or any of his other stuff, PM me and I might be able to help with pickup/short term storage.

That's a fairly brilliant idea, in a totally 70's kind of way.
