Is there a motorsport in which the CVT is well suited?

I'll add the link here later (when I'm on an actual computer, not my phone), but over in my F500 thread I have side by side video of my F500 vs Gimpy's CP car. I'm about 100hp/800lbs and if I recall correctly, he's 420hp/3000lbs. I murder him off the line. He's fighting wheelspin and I just scoot. 

To be fair, gimpy has since discovered and fixed some rear suspension setting deficiencies that were likely hurting that, but I would still put my money on my Fmod.

Yup, aren't they fun. If I didn't live somewhere with such a short riding season 2-3 months I would need a much wilder sled.

I could see that set up in an open wheel car being a riot. Just remember that a modern sled has more power, less weight, and a giant contact patch with the snow/ice to put that power down!
