Well, the Ford was in the family. Kinda.

Did they sell Jaguar too? I can't keep up.

So Ford is just as much in the family now as it was when the car in question was built I say it needs a BMW V12. Just because I like to screw with purists.

Or just fix the bodywork, paint it and park it where you can sit on your porch and look at it. Or put it in your living room.

If it is a Series III 2+2 with an auto, which it most likely is, it is by far the least popular E-Type and probably worth surprisingly little, and might not be worth the effort if it is a rust bucket. Decent drivers like that are only worth $15K tops and I imagine getting a neglected one to decent driver status would eat up any potential proffit margin pretty quickly, but I don't have any first hand knowledge on parts prices.

That, being said, I'd probably be falling over myself to snatch that thing if I were in your place, but I'm a Jaguar fan.

To Tata motors a few years ago.

(Aston was gone before that, Mazda's shares were sold 12/08, and Volvo is on the market- we are focusing on Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury).

A few years ago, one of the garage lift companies had an ad with a blacked out XKE, probably a V12 Coupe with a Chevy V8 and huge wheels. I'd love something like that in black primer.
