It was still there, marked to $450 IIRC and a big fat "NO MORE DISCOUNTS APPLY" stuck to it.
I was sorely tempted to buy it, because we're doing an LS1 build at work and the stock pistons/rods aren't going to be used. But a set of pistons and rods is not a good place to build an engine from, whereas the LT1/harness/computer that we will be swapping out MAY be up for sale very inexpensively, and I always liked LT1s for some dumb reason (darius240z.avi) and I am in the odd situation of having more drivetrains than shells as it is, and I technically have five cars...
But I did spend an hour today Sawzalling up one of the cars, so there's room for more I guess?
And to think this all started because someone e-mailed me telling me about a strange engine build and I felt like trying it so I was looking for an FD center housing on eBay. Didn't find what I wanted, ended up finding what I really wanted in a roundabout way. But I'd still kinda like to find an FD center housing.
