We're coming down to the wire on our KA24DE swapped Roadster for the challenge. We started tuning and realized the ECU we got with the engine is bad. We've got no pulse on Injector 3. Does anyone have a spare KA24DE ECU laying around? We are hunting locally, too.
I may have one, are you looking for an obd or obd2 ecu?
Which version do you need? I've got several in a desk drawer...,
odb. The engine is out of a '91 240sx.

odb for an M/T, but I'm not sure if that matters.

We wish. No budget (or time) for that.
Oh man. I'm no help but I really feel for you guys.
Any pictures of the circuit board in your bad ECU? Might be a straightforward-ish fix. I've fixed a few ECUs of that vintage.

No pictures. We've looked at it and nothing stands out as bad. Because it is only 1 injector with the issue it's got to be that driver.
Can you 'batch fire' that injector by looping it into one of the working injectors? I guess double the current might not be great for the ECU and the fuel timing wouldn't be optimal but it might get you running.

We have discussed that as a last ditch effort. The car is running, just on 3 cyls. We are still hunting for a replacement ECU.
I've got one in Savannah, GA. I'd have responded sooner but when my relief came in, there's a crew of 3, 1 was on vacation and the other showed up at the last minute with a fever and we couldn't let him in, so a couple of us hung out until we could get some emergency coverage.
