Pretty much this right here. I never liked the X myself.

They should just make appliances and stop making cars at this point. With the exception of the current Evo, everything that they have in the lineup is about 10 years behind what all the other automakers are producing. It's too bad, as they used to make some cool stuff.

I thought the entire Mitsubishi car line already died. It's been years since I've seen a new one.

Next thing you know, Isuzu will stop making cars too.

Everyone here knows I am the BIGGEST Mitsubishi fanboi in the universe and they could do no wrong. They've been dead to me since the old school 4g63t went away in 1999. I hope they like my new Mazda. (That company gets it.)

Yep Mazda is one of the few that still get it. I am just waiting for them to drop the MS3 drivetrain into the 5. Meaning the Mazda 5 or the MX5.

LOL, Mitsu lost me in '88 with that crappy engine that was in the $50 Plymouth Reliant I bought.

Heheh, there were no mitsu motors in reliants in 88. Leave it to a weirdo k-car expert to trot that out..

I think realistically mitsu has been in the dumpster ever since they started giving things away for 0 down and 0 interest in the early 2000s. They pretty much took their brand image straight to the dumpster because every mitsu you saw looked like E36 M3 after 6 months because they were all being driven by people who knew they were going to get repo'd after 6 months. Literally every poor-ass sucka in the land was driving a new galant for no money in ~2002. Resale values tanked and all of a sudden they couldnt sell anything that wasnt incentivized into the red.

GM's financing arm kept GM alive when it should have been dying. Mitsu's financing arm put them on the road to death when they should have been living.
