The suspension in the Dirtball is needs help. The bushings fairly new, and I put in a set of KYB shocks about two years ago, but the springs are pretty shot. The suspension is just not coping with Rallycross terrain, that and it is just too soft of autocross.

That said, I have an airbrush job scheduled for this spring that should go along way to the purchase of double adjustable coilovers.

So my question to the hive is this: What do I need to be looking for? What info do I need to have? Is there anything to stay away from?

I know this sounds very generalized, but I am just starting the hunt, and want to soak up as much knowledge as I can.

Point me in the right direction!

With the different things that you use that car for (all of which I applaud, by the way) I'd be looking at something like an AFCO 38 series for maximum adjustability. The downsides for your application are cost and the heim joints which might be a bit harsh for street use although they never bothered me on my Camaro AKA the Track Rat.

Thanks for the input. I started looking at the usual suspects for on road components, but I do indeed think I will end up with either off road, or circle track parts to get the shock travel and durability. AFCO and Fox are in my top spots right now.
