This is local to me. Obviously the asking price is nutso. I love angular '80s japanese cars as a general rule, but I don't really know much about these. Is there anything to be done with them? How hard would it be to find bits to convert to manual?

This is in the Belleville IL area in case anyone is interested.

Wow, I haven't seen one that clean in a million years.

By the way, Mitch Williams, former CEO of Hella, used to run one of those Sentras in IMSA Firehawk. I know I have photos at the office, but I'm sure something exists online.

I kinda like those cars, not that I really have any use for it, but I want one of the real hatchback ones (the one with the sedan front) before they are all gone.

That is my favorite of the B12s

I had one of those back in the late 80s. It was a dark blue Sentra XE. Very versatile little car with the hatch and the fold down back seats. I wasn't much of a car guy back then, but I do remember it being a bulletproof fun car. Traded it on a new 91 Maxima that was the biggest lemon anyone has ever seen. Swore I'd never but another Nissan product again after that experience. Been buying Mazda family cars ever since.

The CA18DE from an 88-89 Pulsar NX would be a relatively drop in swap, since those two cars shared the chassis and such.
