They were aiming to make a comfortable road car not a performance car. So there is tuning that can be done to make the car handle better providing you know what you are doing.
Wait, the grm board can't actually be trying to talk someone out of modifying a car?
Seriously, swaybars/shocks/wheels/tires are the gateway drugs of modifications. I mean, we should just be warning him that all his spare cash is about to go away.
That said, tires>swaybars when your current tires suck. Have you considered just putting some decent performance tires on?
