Long story short, I had bought a honda b16 for a reasonable price and it came with a msd SCi-l ignition setup. Has a box to control rev limit and what looks like an ignitor. Honda motor is not currently in use. Wondering if I could put this thing to use in my 99 subaru 2.5rs hillclimber which is distributorless. I have an email into msd as well. Would it be worth my time/energy/money to make this thing work with my subie? or is it completely unsuited to a subie?

This one? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-6320/

Pretty clearly says "with Distributor." That means you'd need two of them if running waste spark (4 cyl) or 4 if coil on plug.

See if you can trade it or eBay it, then get what you really need.

I'll probably just keep it with the honda motor. Not worth the effort.
