I use Dunlop Wintermaxx on my WRX. Would never go back to using all-seasons in the winter (or in any other season )

Would it be worth it to stud a studdable all season? I realize that that would make them winter only tires. I have 33" Goodyear Duratracs on my Wrangler. They are able to be studded (#16 if I remember correctly). I moved from central Florida to southern Idaho last month. We get some nasty drifting snow down here and it ices frequently. The Jeep has open diffs on both ends. I guess I'm just worried about winter driving since I haven't seen snow in 5 years

On the plus side, it gives me an excuse to upgrade to 35s in the spring

I don't believe they can stud a used tire.
