Maybe I was a bit dramatic. You are correct that if done correctly they can put out a lot of reliable power beyond stock levels. Although I have some local MR2 buddies that have pretty decent builds, I just don't see that many "done correctly" that are actually for sale. Most of what I find shopping around looks pretty suspect.
