How many times does the RS logo appear on or in the car? Let's count.
Front bumper:
Rear deck:
Wing, qty 2:
Wheels, qty 4: (these are the base wheels)
Door sills, qty 2:
Seats, qty 2:
Steering wheel:
Under the trunk floor, molded into the foam insert:
On the dash on power-up:
On the key fob:
And on the air filter:
So that's 17 by my count. Did I miss any?
I can't say where, but I am guessing YES.

It's got to be cast into the control arms or something. Labels on PCM? Don't forget the owner's manual.

LOL - think of how many parts the fan boys will have to buy to fake an RS...

If you find a front-drive only version for sale, you should be somewhat suspicious.
I think you have me beat, but they sure did plaster "GTO" on every possible surface just to make sure people got the message the car isn't actually a Grand Prix. Didn't help though.

While we're here, what is the deal with the air filter? It has two tubes feeding it, and the cutout in the front, AND the sealed ring to the hood. WHY? Did euro RS's have a hood cutout/scoop there or something?
i think that now gives you the right to slap anyone who says "hey, is that an RS?"
Is it weird that I kinda want to debadge mine (when it arrives) and see if I can fit base model Focus bumper covers and rear hatch?
BTW, the rear trunk floor and walls are slightly different, so the aftermarket trunk accessories don't work, unless they say they are for the RS.

I was told by our resident Ford engineer (engiekev) that the open air filter element was designed so that tuners would get more consistent results on chassis dynos with the hood up. When you close the hood, it seals the top to the underhood pad and all of the air comes in from the normal route through the grill.
by "more consistent" you mean "higher than when you're actually driving it"? Interesting. It's like they're VW-ing the dyno tests.

Or this guy:
"Sweet, I love the ST, nice seeing it driven in anger."

Not really, any chassis dyno out there cannot produce adequate airflow, short of an actual wind tunnel. The sealed air boxes suffer unless you have high enough wind speed. This helps better match inlet air temps on a dyno that you'd see driving on a road.
They've done the same thing on the GT500 and now GT350 with "open" air filters that are still sealed by the hood.

No, not really. You have to remember how much faster the air is entering the grill at speed than it is on a chassis dyno, even if they are using a fan.
Edit: Darn, Kevan beat me to it. Thanks, Kev!
The Shelby Raptor has 17 Shelby badges on the outside. I've always felt that showed a bit of insecurity.

Did you take those photos with a potato?

Kinda like the other day when I drove my RX-7 into a gas station (BRAAAAAAAAP...... brrp.. brrp.. brrp.. BRAAP brrp... brrp.. brrp.. brrrr) "Hey, is that thing still rotary powered?"
Uh.
Had a thought: Does this car have the little courtesy lamps in the doors that light up a little graphic on the ground when you open them?

My cell phone - just as bad. Sorry.
I should have looked a bit farther up the intake stream - there's one on the air tube. So between that, the extra key fob, and one I didn't know about on the tach (a shift light), I think we're up to 20 now. I didn't look at the owner's manual yet, nor did I count the window sticker.
