He currently sits in second for his class, which is impressive considering he runs a Subaru against fast Supras. I saw him come in on a flatbed after his run. I'll find out what happened.
Thomas Smith, who came here solo from Las Vegas, had his promising run end when his engine expired. He got 9 years out of it and was as high as first place in his class.

The Corvette of Eric Fleming was just short of what Feras Quartomy laid down last year for the old record, per PA announcer. This Corvette however, has no turbo. It's all NA. Feras ran a 2:03.850. Eric ran a 2:03.853. Eric has some new tires in his ride for next session. The team doesn't think they'll beat Cole Powelson's mark, the Unlimited leader.
Feras made it! Finished about six hours ago. However, he won't be racing his new car. He will be here to meet and greet, despite hours of no sleep.
He is fresh from a win at Tsukuba in February.
Can Cole Powelson beat his Unlimited record? Cole said he think he has a half second, but it's on him.
Korey Kryder came from San Diego to race his 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX. Second attempt at Super Lap Battle. His first ended with an engine failure in 2022. This year has been going smooth and he can sit down, relax and enjoy the show. Currently 14th, with a 2:35 lap.
