I found a Miata locally for $3K, I am pursuing that first....
What about for every dollar amount you spend on a project car, you budget 10% of the purchase cost to get her something nice too? That way there's incentive for her when you to get more expensive project cars!
Funny, My wife thinks that for every $.10 of challenge budget I need to spend $1.00 on her.
my SO said that for every crappy car project i drag home, she gets to buy another purse/pair of shoes...
Here's a great shop tip:
Look outside once in a while.
There are Lots more women out there ,
than good project cars!
Remind her what you could be doing with your time and cash!
After watching " Who wants to be a millionare"
I snuggled up to the squeeze and said lets do it.
" not now ' she answered.....
Final answer? "yes , final answer"
so I told her I was going to use my phone a friend!
( always works, every time !)

Well my wife is getting a new Laptop this weekend (picks it up today) so she said I could look at / go after the miata that was local.
I get there, it is a green 1992 with tan leather interior, the body is in great shape, and it even has a hardtop. (resell that to the Spec Miata racers).
Things look good, but then I get in it, I put my feet in and I am like "wait a second, where is the cluthc pedal"?
Its a berkeleying automatic......
Just my luck, I passed on the car...
I have been eyeing this 1984 toyop supra 50 k original miles/owner allways garaged $3200 luckily I have just sold a bunch of crap project cars and am selling more . Using cash i have accumulated over past 2/3 months .
Giving it to her as a present >> Have not seen car lately can't wait
should have it this week .
She is gonna be pissed ,, be back going to put more crap on CL
