Well, not really home, but to work.. I traded my B4 Passat for a 1980 VW Caddy and a 2001 VW Jetta 1.8T Wolfsburg Ed. From there, i traded the Caddy to my co-worker in return for him building me a badass 1.8 motor for the Wolfie because its blown... Here are some shots of what he has to work with...
Couple more cool ones..
His Jeep with a 4BT swap
Our neighbor's "1968?" with a LS1 swap...

I've never driven one with the 4bt. How does it perform? The 4.0 HOs are pretty strong.
When the 350 in my Suburban dies I'm thinking 6bt. I love the one in my Dodge.

I got the Cummins 5.9 in my motorhome. Simple, powerful.

If this site (http://www.tardsite.com/) was still open, we'd have some new WINNAHs...........
haha, yup. We take up all the spaces! We are so far back in the complex that no cops come back and regulate anything...

Whats the difference in weight for the Jeep before (4.0L) and after (4bt)? Engines or Vehicle...
he says the engine dropped the front about 2 and a half inches so he put new heavy duty shock/strut set in to offset the weight.

So how does he like the performance of the 4bt vs the 4.0?
he said it was originally a 2.5, so he says the the difference is awesome! he says its around the same horsepower, but triple the torque!

Looks like a clean job. Very cool.
Agree, nice and clean install. That Chevy truck looks rather tasty, too.
I hope you got a better engine for the VW Caddy, in Germany the engine we used to seen in the most often was the n/a 54bhp Diesel. Very Patient People Only.
I've had an urge lately to turn on of those little VW truck thingies into a mini NASCAR truck. Is that wrong?
No, it's an incentive to get going around here .
