How about the Mazda CX7 or CX9?

The wife has a 2003 4x2 Trailblazer LS the past 10 years + 65,000 miles. I had a 2008 4x4 Trailblazer LT for 3 years and drove 75,000 flawless miles as a company car.

Problems? Changing the battery on the 2003 resets some of the heating vent door actuators requiring replacements. Everyone states dash removal @ $1,000 or skinny hands and patience. I still can't get those doors to reset correctly.

The Trailblazer is rated at 270+ horsepower but feels like 100 and it always feels bloated and wallowly to me. Our older S10 4.3 was a rocket.

How bout trail blazer ss? There is review out there of making it skid sideways at 80 mph with no chance of roll over! Talk about safety! Plus it has the LS motor known for its durability. Also there is a saab SUV with an ls motor as well.

My wife has a Pathfinder and other than the fuel consumption, she loves it. It's a 2008 and no rust issues yet. You know, you can get these with an 8

My wife has a Liberty. Her only complaint is it's too small and the power windows are dieing. It just turned 185K. 23-24mph one the highway and 17-19 in town. The 3.7 has plenty of power to haul it around.
