There's a company, in the UK, I think, with an online cad tool thingie that you use to make emblems. People in Europa circles have used them to make the steering wheel centers, nose badges, etc. You could get those top inserts or anything you want from that place. Prices were really cheap too, even with shipping across the pond.

I want one. Ideally black/silver laminate. I don't like my factory shifter and most of the 10x1.5 are aluminum.

Do you have a link or other clues to help me find them?

I have a factory 240Z wooden shift knob - I just need to find a car to put underneath it. At the price of Z's lately it isn't going to happen soon.

The site the guys used was http://www.heko.co.uk/indexbanner.html

I don't get anything from them now. It looks like they have a FB presence: https://www.facebook.com/heko.custombadges but FB won't let me in.

It worked something like this one: http://www.onlinebadgemaker.com/3d-badge-maker
