Unicorn! These are tough to find, but they're out there.

Even the auto equipped ones are pretty rare, so a manual would be a 3 legged unicorn.

IIRC, the hatch only came with the 4-cylinder, and was even less popular than the wagon (which was definitely V6 only). I couldn't find a wagon with a stick for months, so bought a 5 with a stick (which was easy!), and I never saw a single hatch during that time, auto or stick. And I was looking all over Seattle and Portland!

Friend of mine just picked up a black on black V6 5spd Mazda 5 door hatch with just under 50K mi.

2005 Mazda6 Hatch V6 Manual Specs

edmunds.com says they exist.

poopie, if you could live without the hatch, i'm in the middle of cleaning up my '03 sedan V6 manual sport package to get it ready to sell.

Well E36 M3 then, a V6 hatch stick MZ6 has to be harder to find than an honest politician giving away gold-plated chicken teeth out of his flying saucer!

UMMMM. YEAH. THAT'D BE THE berkeleyING ONE! I predict a heated debate over $$$ in the poop-house tonight....

Anybody wanna buy a 91 Integra? 87 CRX Si project? I'll wheel & deal on both!!!

Edit: It's been hit though.

11K for that!!!! Wow you 'muricans like to spend the big bucks.

I little more mileage, but 1/3 the price around here.

More than double the miles, not red, presumably no leather, and I'm used to berkeleying pristine non-rust belt cars where heads popping off bolts during routine maintenance is not an issue. So yeah. No thanks.

That said, yeah, I was a little shocked at the price-tag, but it's in line with kbb once I use my eastern-european negotiating techniques. Still, with clean, 100k, non-hatch, non-leather cars in the $5-$6k range, that's a pretty big jump to $10k.

1,400,000 km? I wouldn't call that just a little more miles.

I saw one on the used lot at Hennesy Honda of Woodstock. You should check it out.

A friend had one (a silver 5-speed 4/cylinder hatch) when they first came out. I think in 2004? When he got it, I didn't believe that it was a hatch until the moment he opened the hatch up. I liked it a lot.

These were such an immense step up over the 626 that preceded it. I'd rock a clean 1st gen 6, although I'd go for the V6/5-speed combo personally, especially in wagon form.

140000km = 87000 miles

Can't argue with the not red, no leather and not popping bolts like it was bubble wrap when doing routine maintenance though.

Still, 11K

Saw it. The puddle of tranny fluid underneath was a bit disconcerting though.

DURP! My bad...assuming that's 140,000 and not 1.4 million.

Nice. Thanks. And I'd be interested in the angrymobile, but I've owned exactly one car from Michigan, and I swore it would be the last. No offense. Kisses.

I've got a 2008 V6/auto hatch as a DD. Great car for a DD. Roomy, versatile, great steering wheel and feel for a DD.

That red one in the ad is the Mac Daddy top of the line Grand Touring model - special wheels, leather and auto climate. None higher up the chain than that. And red.

How do you guys feel that the Mazda6 matches up with the G35?
