I put a set of flyin miata sway bars on my '94 a couple weeks back.

Almost immediately the driver's side front sway bar link, which was brand new, pulled the rubber bushing through the link. Result being a sway bar that has only a chunk of rubber bolted to it, and a sway bar link swaying in the breeze with an empty eyelet.

Might have been a bad link. So I replaced it with another new one of another brand. A week later, the same thing happened again.

What could I be doing wrong?

Check the sway bar for bind. Maybe it's not moving enough in the bushings and that lack of motion is causing extra stress on the end links, resulting in this destruction. Bar should move freely.

put a big washer on the outside of the link. The energy suspension endlink bushings come with a big washer for that purpose. I would check to see if the bar is binding as well since it shouldn't see that much force.
