Fiero? Definitely a mistake.

But an awesome mistake that I bet you'll only regret a few times a month.

Does it need suspension work?

The '88 is considered the best suspension because for' 88 the suspension was revised and shares nothing with the earlier year cars.  But,88 was also the last year,  so,these suspension parts are "one year only" which makes them rare...more expensive if you can find them.

When looking for a mid engine Toyota goes wrong.

Hopefully my sarcasm does not offend.

Sweet!

You must promise the Hive that you will care for it, hug it, name it George, and drive the bag off of it.

The Formula is my favorite  Fiero, I had one when I started  autocrossing. Someone has taken off the 15" wheels and put 14's in their place, but you already  know that. The 15x7 will fit in the front on a 88 even though they came with 6" up front and 7" rear.  225/50/15 tires will clear all around.

If it runs rough, check the egr pipe at the intake, they like to Crack there and cause a vacuum leak.

Great  car!

Oh,  yeah.  A Formula model would have those sweet BBS style wheels.

Also,  Westlake white letter tires.  Interesting.  We're they self-made white?

Yes they were and they will get a different tire, something a little stickier

Maybe even try 17x7s so you can run 215/40R17s which has a good selection of tires available. 215/45R17 has an even better selection of tires available but may be too tall.

Just my luck. I leave town for a week, come home and the cars have multiplied.

It's a neat little car. He should have fun with it.

I was told there would be a mistake in here. I see no mistakes.

Looks to be in decent shape.  Have fun, and drive the wheels off of it.

Well, how about fullfilling your dreams and getting a Fiero?  I know of a super clean, low mileage 4spd GT for sale....

Outlined raised white letter Goodyear Eagle GTs in 215-60-14 FTW.
