Yeah, that was my concern, too. I've had a couple of PN96's, they are great trucks, but they don't crash too well. Though I think the regular cabs did better than the extended ones.
There's something so sad about having a car get totaled in an accident. It's like you don't get to say goodbye the way you want to.
I hope everyone is okay.

I hope you are all doing well - and it sucks as you almost made it past the crappy winter.....
That sucks man. A friend in Berwick, ME flopped his Jeep in a gully the other greasy morning last week. I did not even go out Saturday and it took 90mins to knock 3" of ice off of my Tacoma.
Guy, thanks for your concern. I am more banged up than I thought I would be. I'm seriously wondering if my seat belts didn't engage. I nailed my left side really well. Sore left side of my head, possibly from the airbag, but def not my forehead.
I have driven rear wheel drive mustangs for the last five winters. My fox body even had studded tires. Never slid in the mustang , (at least when I wasn't trying), now this! I'm on the hunt for a new truck. I have a tacoma for a loaner. I've already tried to shift the lever a few times and my left foot is looking for something to do. I may use this as an excuse to get another mustang and pull a trailer with it. We are doing and easy reno on our new to use house. We are already feeling the lack of truck. Our last town didn't have garbage pickup so a truck was really handy. Not sure where to go, nice to have options.
Again, thanks for your coner,
Doc
