More Barbie than the Miata

Some buddies and I went in on a race car together. Currently it makes my miata look manly

We are planning on doing a few shakedown autoXes and HDPE's then running in chump car and lemons this fall / winter...

Hahaha - I was watching that thing on Craigslist.

The really funny part was there's a few of my friends that are doing a Lemons car... it's an FB... and they were doing a Barbie Dream Car theme... right until I showed them that ad.

I'd rock that. Tried to get the chumpcar team to go with a My Little Pony theme, but they dinna like it.

What about a "Hello Kitty" theme?

My 7yo daughter would love that car, just because it says Barbie.

Random question... is that a GSL-SE? I only ask because of the wheels.

its kinda a hodge podge of parts, it has GSL-SE running gear, but it is still powered by a carbed 12A

The theme will be changed mostly because its already been done...

...although its pretty funny to watch one of my teammates squirm, When we were towing it home he was hanging his head with embarrassment. I couldn't stop laughing the entire tow home. It was funny to watch the peoples reaction when they noticed what was on the trailer.

I also told my 9 year old daughter (who makes it a point to tell me that she is "too old" for barbie) that I would be dropping her off at school in this. Her horrified no, daddy no!!! was priceless

Very cool. Brother had a true 13b GSL-SE, sold it to my dad, and now my dad won't sell it to me.

They are popping up everywhere!! That was a late minute sub for a much better Barbie themed cabrio that got totalled just a week before the BABE rally.

I'd much rather drive that car with my six year old daughter riding shotgun than sitting through another Barbie movie with her. Those movies are bar none the worst movies ever.

For a second, I thought this was going to be about the car I saw on BaT about a month ago, an "elderly" Volvo wagon that was supposedly owned by a "little old lady". That car had a huge picture of "My little pony" on the hood, and was painted (oxidized?) a non-Volvo reddish pink.

This needs to stop. Now.

I LOLed at entering a Barbie car in Lemons, but I ROFLMAOed that Barbie and My Little Pony had already been done. This community rocks.

The theme has changed, the car is no longer pink (mostly).

We painted a circle track car that color once. It looked really good from the stands.
