They give up their cojones when they retire. The rest of the town just lacks savvy drivers that know how to move efficiently and safely. Entry ramp manuevers are just amazing. At least I10 by me is 75 mph.
Pft - getting on the freeway with a 45mph speed deficit isn't that bad (if you enjoy your life flashing by in the review mirrors. With an 18 wheeler filling them up...)
