This morning, I found a Honda Kick 'N Go at a swap meet for $5.
I remember that they were surprisingly fast and that Honda only made them for a couple of years in the '70s before the lawyers shut 'em down. Those two things may or may not be related.
It's missing the brake lever and cable, and the chain and bearings need some love, but it's in really good condition for a 40 year old kid's scooter.
Candidate for magazine pit bike....

It'd be like Wheeler Dealers but without the accents!
That is an amazing price of just $5.
I don't get it. Why is there a chain?

Wait, you have to do physical work to make it go? Screw that, that'll never catch on with today's kids.
(My kids would love that! Nice find!)
I remember those. I'll give you $10 for it right now. That's like... double your money for no work!
Did it include a box of lawn darts?

I could totally gear that thing up and get it flying fast enough to scare myself E36 M3less. It has the same sort of stupid appeal to stupid men as those rides at amusement parks where the people inside push or pull on something to get some centrifugal force and you get a couple of guys with more muscle than sense in there and everyone comes out vomiting. This is probably more dangerous, though. I would still do it.
So is a blue one is more rare than a red one?
I've seen red and yellow but I've never seen a blue one.
Those things are worth bucks now! One local dealer was looking to collect a whole set.

Huh, I forgot about those. We found an abandoned one at my father's car wash one time. It was red. I wonder what ever happened to it?
