That intake is from a what? Then again, it's totally masking the engine. What are you running back there?

Some generic "cold air intake" from a Honda something or another I picked up at AdvanceOriellyZone, APC style. It has one of those cone filters that is sitting just above the air scoop.
It does a good job of keep Intake Air Temps down while moving and is low enough that it can still get relatively cool air at a stand still, from under the car.
Sorry, let me be more specific, the plenum and intake runners. Where are they from, and what engine are they hiding? I can't make out much from the picture. That does not look like s SOHC Fiat engine.

I think he's asking about the motor with the turbo on it -- not in the original post, and probably not in the faded red car, but posted by you.
It might be a SOHC Fiat motor, but if it is, it's got some unusual manifolds on it.
I guess I'm curious about it as well. Matt
Oh, I was confused!
It is the 2.2l Dodge Turbo that fastx19 is selling. It was posted with pictures on the Xweb forums.
Sorry for my brain spasms.
In reply to m4ff3w: Thanks dude. Suspension is stock struts with springs cut WAY down. PO did it. Once I'm done with my BSME I plan on some custom strut housings with KONI 8610's and coilover adjusters so I can run 2.5" ID springs.

You are more than welcome to build a set of tubes for me as well.
I considered mounting some coilover sleeves to my KYBs, but havn't done it yet. My last 2 cars have ran Konis and I really want to go back.
Are you over at Xweb?
You guys missed out on the custom strut tube group buy a while back. I think it was Midwest-X1/9 that sponsored it, but about $500 you got a set of custom strut tubes that were threaded for common aftermarket struts inserts and the spring perches are of course threaded and adjustable. Nice pieces.
I have a set and I might be willing to part with them, still new in the box. I also have a set of 13" lightweight wheels (forget the brand at the moment) and slicks.
In reply to m4ff3w: Hey once I get the design done is solidworks I plan to send all the flanges and whatnot out for laser or waterjet cutting and TIG the parts together. After I get it all right I can fairly easily make another set so you will be the first to know.
I'm on Xweb, but post rarely. I've been too busy with school to do any work on the X. It's been a non-runner since September when I pulled the steering column to do the brake and clutch masters.
Also, to the fellow who asked about the sumitomos, well so far the seem pretty good. I haven't been able to do any really hard driviing on them though. I mostly chose them b/c they were the only 215/50/13 tire I could find and that's what I needed to fit the revolution wheels that came with some busted 225/45 Hoosier slicks. You can't really go wrong at $50 a tiire.
I did the brake and clutch masters a couple of months ago. That wasn't fun.
My headlights went out today, I knew I should have added a relay for the lights when I went away from sealed beams. Hopefully the dimmer stalk is ok and I just need to replace some wiring.
