Couldn't imagine two turbos going anywhere under this hood.  I made a vid of it trying to start but I guess we can't embed?

Look at how the factory did it.  I did it on my XJS by putting the turbo’s  Out of the engine compartment but behind the front tire under the fenders.  Corvettes do it in the back where the mufflers used to be.

The real question is if you do turbo it what computer system ya gonna use? The Mercedes I’ve seen is a nightmare in that regard. Same with BMW.

I have no interest in putting a turbo. It was just food for thought. This engine is good for 400ish hp out the box, I'm good with that. 130k-ish  miles on it that's low for me.

If cotton ever sells me his biturbo v12 s600, then I'll be looking for 800hp!

I’m glad! I’m scared of the bone simple computer ( not a single microchip, in fact most through the 1980’s Jaguars use an analog “computer”)   The thought of combining all 5 Mercedes computers together would give me endless nightmares.

I got a new battery in the car, for free lol.

The car had a dead duralast gold battery from autozone. I brought it in there to buy a new one and she asked for my number and saw I bought same size battery in 2016 for my old mercedes. She automatically assumed that was it and gave me a free replacement devil

The car needs at least one new fuel pump. I can get a new one for as cheap as 30 bucks but I'd feel suspicious interesting such a cheap part on this car. The Bosch ones are $80, so if I buy two pumps plus a fuel filter that'll be $190 into my budget. Im going to see if the filter is clogged first, apparently that happens and keeps them from getting fuel too.

I did get it to run for like 10 seconds.

I’d go with the Bosch units.  Can’t wait to see this one on the road!  I’m hoping to be driving my w140 s500 coupe soon,  just need to replace the two rear accumulators and swap a different set of wheels and tires on,  then it’ll be ready to go.

Oh you got the silver one you showed me? Send me the specs on those wheels I remember not liking them on the coupe but thinking they'd be nice on a sedan.

The build quality on the w140's is impressive. I need to get a SDS, for now WIS will have to do.

SDS is great and very useful,  even on the older stuff.

Worked on the s600 today for minimal amount of time. Got it to do its strongest start yet. Almost  crying

Still trying to get it to run with minimum $. Haven't bought fuel pumps or relays yet. Because I'm cheap and I only have $2,000 left on the budget lmao

Also, representing for GRM
