My BRZ came in yesterday. Time to put some miles on it. I think we have every shade of blue covered here now.

Beautiful car, congratulations!
If you don't mind me asking what was your order number? I still haven't gotten my VIN. I was told May or June delivery in December when I ordered mine.
If you need wheel ideas, I just tossed on the Enkei's last night. Enjoy the heck out of it. It's a super fun package. I have 3k miles and 2 track weekends on it already.
And very dirty TS-10s in gold

Thanks, I messaged you all the info and timeline. Hope it helps.
Factory for the RPF1s 17x7.5 +48 Using those for DS Autox
The TS10's are 17X8 +43. Those are going to get some Continental ECS tossed on them.
235/45/17 for both. Right now the RPF1's have a set of RE71s on them and the TS10s have winter tires today. Getting that fixed in the next few weeks.

I tried the 60 pump method as described... I do not detect any improvement. It's not awful, I just would like to feel the response with slightly less pedal input. If I don't correct it soon, I will probably just get used to it.
After 350 miles, I am feeling the same thing. The throttle mapping is not linear and feels very dull until about 25% which feels like 50%.
Hope everyone is enjoying their respective rides. Love all the blues. I still catch myself looking out the window at mine.
I headed south this week and hit 4000 miles. The car feels like home now and zero regrets.
My company sponsors Hyperfest so I have a group of musician /gear head/teammates manning the booth for the weekend. I'm going to take them out for laps in the GR86 as a partial thank you...that will be my first track experience and I am looking forward to it!
I put the GR86 on track at vir. It is incredible. It feels like my 944 race car but with way more power and torque.
If I had adjustable sways I would tighten the rear slightly for rotation. If I did that, had competition tires and changed the pads and fluid, I'd race it right out of the box.
I didn't get my lap times but I did see 125 at the end of the straight where I used to see 119 on the Porsche. With better launch from Oak Tree from all the above I reckon I would pick up about 3 mph there. I'm going to say it is at least a a 2:10 car at vir. Maybe 2:05 even. She is a joy in the esses and particularly awesome on the roller coaster/hogpen.
If I had deeper pockets I would look for a car to cage and race. I would be very happy there.
edit: if anyone is going to track hard, I suggest going ahead and changing pads and fluid. I did get a fair amount of fade by the end of the session
Interesting. I actually picked up time tightening the front with the Perrin 22MM FSB on the soft setting which is suppose to be 103% stiffer than stock.
But I think that was more that I like a slightly pushy race car. I guess just a leftover from when I raced FWD cars.
I'm at my first service appointment. My first experience with a dealer service date ever. Interesting...there are enthusiasts here which surprised me.
I have found something Toyota engineers can work to improve upon.
I had a driver cut me off...intentional foul....two lanes going down to one with a half mile of visibility. I didn't make it super easy for him then laid on the horn.
I know....I should let it go but this was not cool.
Anyway, Toyota should work on the horn tone. It sounded like a friendly wave.
But that's about all I have found to complain about. I really like this car.
