My neighborhood got caught in a huge flash flood last night right as I got home from trading Jeff a bottle of scotch for his Range Rover. The flood killed the Flex (bent rods? It sucked in water) but not the Rover. The Audi is also flooded, though it wasn't running. Now it has cat codes and water in the exhaust. Garage was high enough up to stay dry less a little water on the floor. Corvette and Boxster are perfectly safe.
Many of my neighbors have flooded garages and homes. It's been a tough night.
Glad to see house, family, Porsche and Vette are safe
agree with Patrick.
Good riddance of Flex. Car Gods have read all your hatred of that car on this forum, and made the choice to rid you of that POS.
Hallelujah! Thank them!
Yikes, that’s awful! Glad you and you’re family are okay!
You hated the Flex, and we all hated the Audi, nature solved it.
How is your house?
I guess I'm the only one sad about the dead ford. Flash floods can be crazy. Stay safe. Good luck with the insurance.
Well, you really wanted to get rid of the Flex anyways. Don't be surprised if the Audi gets totalled too, the value of it is really low and parts are really expensive.
Glad to hear you're ok and the cars you like are fine
I hope it works out.
To me, it would probably be easier to deal with the Flex ownership than deal with the insurance company on two claims at the same time (maybe 3 claims with house issues too.)
I lost a car to a flash flood in Phoenix. Insurance was fairly easy to deal with, many cars were lost and they were not fighting. They had the shop pull the intake and if there was any water or signs of water, it was an instant total. They do not want to deal with ongoing claims anytime something goes wrong with electrical or mechanical that could go back toa warranty claim on the repair. They did the same thing with my stolen truck when it was recovered. If the motor blew later, it could be claimed it was from damage from joyride (or in my case, take to Mexico, modified and used for human smuggling).
Glad you and the family are safe. Sucks about the vehicles but they can be replaced. Side note - challenge flex for 2021?
I lost my Galant VR4 to a flood while I was deployed. I had just sunk nearly 10k into
I hope things workout for you.
Glad to hear you guys are all safe, sorry to hear about the Flex and the Audi. Hope everything goes smoothly through insurance, and that you're whole soon.

Modern SHOGUN? Put the 3.5L TT EcoBoost in the ass of a Fiesta?
