Wow, that's crazy cool! Where did you find it? Did it come out of an old emission testing facility or something?
Iowa CL actually. The guy I bought it from had two. He bought them from a auction house years ago. It was made for performance stuff not just emissions.
Really excited to have it
What does it take to make them operational? Do you plan to elevate or incorporate or incorporate into a slab? I don't know the first thing about dynos.
It needs new hardware to rear roller RPM, engine RPM, and then reading of the load cell. It will also get controls to power up the eddy brake.
I'm not sure if it will go in the floor or not. It depends a little on my landlord.

Oh, he's gonna love you...
I wish I had the brain to make that useful again. I don't.
Nor do I have the horsepower to max it out! With all three vehicles at the same time even!
That is totally awesome! Everybody needs an eddy current chassis dyno in their garage. I guess never thought to look for one on CL......
The emissions ones show up on govdeals.com every now and then, from states that require the state to do the emissions testing at their own facility, like NJ. I'd imagine that the performance ones are built much sturdier, but who knows.
Last one I saw on govdeals went for $200
