Having a hell of a time getting the front control arm ball joints out of the spindles in order to change the little bushings to eccentric ones.

Have tried Kroll, tapping on the studs (with a punch), and a lever type ball joint separator.  Don't wanna try the pickle fork cause it always tears the boots.

Anybody have any tips or tricks?

Harbor freight has an awesome ball joint separator.  I'm sure other stores have similar ones but they work awesome.

I line it up, and just start turning the bolt until it explodes off.  Little taps during the process sometimes accelerate the separation

Got it semi solved.  Tried all of the above and no luck on the bottom ball joint.  Got the top one and got done what we needed to do.
