Any good videos or write ups with step by step? Duster fires up and sort of idles. So, I'm assuming that the wiring and basic settings are correct. Where to next?

Even better, anyone in the Charlotte NC area willing to come and hold my hand while I learn? I'll offer food and drinks....

I really recommend doing it and learning it yourself. You are much more likely to retain what you learn on your own than what someone shows you and you will be in a much better position to make useful changes and handle firmware upgrades without help in the future.

For those situations where some specific thing is just too confusing to sort out on your own I found the folks over at the Megasquirt Forum: MSEXTRA Support can be very helpful.

The MS2/Extra Setting Up Manual covers a lot of the tuning process:

Reading the ms2 manual is somewhat confusing. I'll watch the videos tonight.

The old megamanual makes a lot more sense in a step by step instructions format, but doesn't apply to what I have. I guess part of my problem is unfamiliarity with computers in general. Especially the tuning software. I've never really messed with them, and am afraid of screwing something up so bad that I eat an engine or other hardware.

A guide of general first, second, third order would be very helpful here, and then a guide to tunerstudio written for blithering idiots. The msextra documents assume a basic knowledge that I'm not sure I have.
