I am helping a friend from work replace the K20 in his RSX Type-S and need some advise on what maintenance items should be done to the engine before we stick it in his car. The engine in question has about 133k miles on it. We are replacing the waterpump, and swapping over his RBC manifold with a Hondata Gasket. New iridium plugs are going in also. So what else can you guys think we need to do to it before it goes into it's new home?

Timing chain tensioner and anything related that looks worn.

I tend to do rear main seals, valve cover gasket and cam seals whenever an engine is out, but with that being said if there's no signs of seepage (and there rarely are with K20's) it may create an issue rather then prevent it. I'd get some cams though, it's an excuse to do the valve cover gasket and cam seals ;)
