It’ll fit in a 6x12 U-Haul trailer, so that’s one option. I’m thinking you could probably get it hauled cheaper though using UShip and John Welsh’s tips.
Going road racing again?

UShip types probably won't be able because of its size, but a smaller company, local carrier?

I'm not so sure my tips work any more. Seems there have been changes to Uship since I last used it about 2 years ago.
Others report not the "ease of use" that I experienced in the 3 times I used Uship.
Is there any fork-lift help on both sides of this trip? If it could be forked on and forked off this might help you attract a flatbed shipper off Uship. Not so much a car hauler but the kinds of guys that haul more freight and machinery.
These types:
If the Legends car is a non-runner it will cost much more to have moved unless it can be a hassle free load like with a fork-lift.

5’ wide x 10.5’ long is what I found on Google. Loading & unloading it from his truck would be the challenge.
In reply to Pete Gossett :
I'm trying to avoid travel to Colorado. Even with my diesel f250 2500+ miles roundtrip is about $400 in fuel, 4-5 days on road, hotel, food, trailer rental, etc. 750 to 1000$ would be a relative bargain since time and wear and tear on me is worth something.
And NO....a 10 ft long car wont fit in an 8 ft truck bed

You Sir are lacking in your redneck engineering.

I think put it up on Uship. With every quote there will be a message sent to you that you can reply to.
This is roughly 1300 miles one way. I'll bet the first quote is $1,800. When that happens reply back with:
In your listing be a thorough as possible. A picture of the item helps greatly. Also give specific addresses not just the more generic city of origin and city of deliver. This way with the specific the driver can google up an aerial photo and be comfortable in knowing he can get his rig in/out of there.
For my shipments I also stressed a combination of immediate and wait. I pointed that the item could be picked up any time (during daylight hours) starting today and up to 2 weeks from now with deliver as soon as tomorrow or up to 2 weeks from now. I did this to attract both a driver who wanted it now which is good if he is in the neighborhood with no load. The 2 weeks is good for a driver building a load and planning a route.
1300 miles of travel. $750 is 57.7 cents per mile. $1000 is 76.9 cents pdr mile.
My running cars shipped from Jax to Ohio or 944 miles for:

The tailgate will have to be down, so that 10ft total right there!
Fly to CO, rent Uhaul and trailer, profit?
Not sure on price, but it would definitely save a big chunk of time.

- I had $750 (or close to it) in mind as a fair price
- I am more interested in contact directly from a driver rather than a broker

Yeah and this is why I’m not a Hot Shotter.

Agreed.
In this old thread I tried to detail off what I thought my owner/operator was making per day of travel which was about $250 per day.
I know this is a long shot but, What about a GRM's relay? Get a trailer rented in Colo and the car loaded and relay to Jackson. I'm willing to go a few hundred miles west to take the last leg down to Jackson. Just a thought.

Well technically I am, but I transport Travel Trailers. I make $1.37 per mile and sometimes have a backhaul. Those guys can make good money, but they’re out there constantly hunting for loads and are willing to be lowballed so they have some money coming in. I have helped out a couple people and I can only transport one car at a time, but I refuse to get bent over.

This would be awesome.
Get it to San Antonio area and I'll take it to Shreveport or Texarkana for the price of fuel.
We're a resourceful bunch. Let's try and make this happen. I'm assuming a bumper pull trailer to keep it simple. I've met Ovid and he's a great champion of our sport/hobby and a good dude. Edit. Looks like 1275 miles.
I’m in Colorado Springs and would be willing to pick the car up in Fort Collins and drive it to the Colorado/New Mexico border for the price of gas. I can probably rent a U-Haul on this end if you’d like.
