Saw this on JNC and thought it might be of interest.
Bridgestone quietly announced the return of the Super R.A.P. at the Tokyo Auto Salon, displaying a prototype in a corner of their massive booth. The wheel on display was a 15×6.0J, the largest and widest size planned. A custom set of 15×8.5J prototypes were displayed at Toyota’s Gazoo Racing booth on Masahiro Sasaki’s Sprinter Trueno. Sasaki is a factory race and test driver and for Toyota and probably had some pull to get himself a personalized deep-lip set.
Ohhh. Nice. 4X114 with a 38 offset is perfect for the Mirage. I'll have to follow this. The colors are perfect too.
Those are damn near perfect for my G20 (Primera).. Too bad a set probably cost more than the car is worth..
Looks cool, unfortunately the selection of performance 14 inch street tires is basically zero, unless you consider the Radial T/A a performance tires. 15 inch is pretty slim, but there are a few (in limited sizes).
I had to wait for them to make some Federal tires for my car, and they are only OK street tires (nowhere as good as the Yokohama AVS I had).
Are these steel wheels? Or some fancy material?
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Aluminum wheels made to look like steel. Very light.

There's also the Falken Azenis RT615K, but yeah, that's about it.

There are actually more out there than a few years ago. Coker Tires are importing the Michelin Pilot exalto in some interesting sizes now. I have a set on my car in the 195/55/15 and they are a great DD option in the factory size.

So where do we find this survey for sizes...

Now if we could just get some tires to put on 14" wheels.
