Hi all, I am now the proud owner of a super clean '92 classic red miata with 115,000 miles. I bought it with the following;
New Brake rotors, pads and master
Fairly new Tires Kumho Ecsta 205 50 15
New Radiator
New Air Filter
Oil Change
New Drive Belts and hoses
New rear panel
New Battery
Mods include....
Shocks are Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks with lowering springs.
Flowmaster muffler and high flow cat
Exhaust Headers
Now it could stand a new clutch and a couple other items, so where is the best place to get performance parts for miata's?
P.S. I got it for 2,500 bucks :)
Many places carry parts for miatas,
Flying Miata
moss miata
Many others too
For performance parts, Flyin' Miata
Flyin' Miata will take many of your dollars in a very pleasant fashion. They send you good stuff too!

I'm thinking about sending them some more of my money too. Pesky 21 year suspension parts...
Flyin' Miata has (along with Good-win and 949 Racing and Planet-Miata) received a lot of my dinero over the last 5ish months.
What if I want performance floor mats?

FM is still the wrong place. You need to go Autobacs and get JDM floor mats.
I actually just take my floor mats out to save weight.
FM does have good stuff and they have great customer service. I personally get my performance parts from 5Xracing.com seeing as I am on the team support program, but that's just me. Service is great as well. 5X Racing is mainly tailored to racing with a little performance stuff compared to FM that has a much more broad selection of performance parts. Sounds like you got a pretty sweet deal on the Miata. Prolly wouldn't hurt to replace, not rebuild, the slave cylinder for the clutch. It's an easy job and it's preventive, but not always neccesary. Just check the boot on the end of it for fluid. If there is no fluid, it's fine. If you plan on replacing the clutch, the clutch slave cylinder and the stainless steel clutch line would be a good addition. Both are cheap parts. Look into the upgrading of the sway bars. I installed the Eibach sway bars in my 91 and I love driving the car through corners that much more. As Keith stated in his Miata Project book, "Upgraded sway bars, in my opinion, are the best bang for the buck of any Miata modification."
