Starting next Tuesday we will be spending a few days with the forthcoming ND-chassis Mazda MX-5—instrumented testing plus plenty of highway miles. Here’s the catch: We can’t reveal our driving impressions until June 1.
However, watch our website and Facebook pages for a few sneak peeks. And if you’re on the ball, perhaps there’s a chance you’ll get to meet …

A few days? Enough time to drive to LA.

Ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy!
I know a guy who would love to be involved in this. He might even be able to add some depth to the story. He can travel.
Thanks for letting us know when the embargo is lifted, too
If you're headed to Texas somehow, there's one heck of a nice guest room in the Grosh. Wouldn't that make for great editorial material?
Wow, I'm really looking forward to reading about your impressions of the new MX......
um, excuse me for a moment....

and don't mind the guy with the brown nose, he's mostly harmless. Mostly.
This should be fun. Once we're on the road, we'll be checking in. I have a feeling at least one stop at Moe's will be on the schedule. We get the keys Tuesday morning.
Anyone know how much room the MX-5 has in the trunk?
Enough room to fit me in it.
If you come near Lexington nc, ill intrduce you to a local delicacy that will knock your socks off. Most incredible sandwich I've found on the east coast.
I think Austin is a natural. Too bad COTA is all setup for the X games but I'm sure with a few calls you can get in at Harris Hill. :)
The Mumpkin will be in Gainesville and would love to say hi.
Get it again for the UTCC, as a base line...

1.5 dead hookers, but they have to be really, really skinny.
And, you know, cut in half.

What's the line from Cannonball Run?
Remember our car? Two seats. Two seats! Where's he gonna sit!?

From Florida it isn't that far to Deals Gap. That would be a good shakedown of a car that is supposed to be able to handle.... Maybe have some other generation Miatas meet you there for a comparison.

Hey yeah, it isn't too far....
Autoblog, Autoweek and Automobile Magazine all hosted ND reveals in their respective hometowns (Detroit and LA). Surely GRM cannot be one-upped by those guys. Where and what time should we show up in Daytona Beach to drool over the new car?
Our personal welcome to the ND is going to be a little different than the others. It will be cool, too.
Did you get upgraded wheels and tires for the ND as well as the NC?

Maybe. (I never kiss and tell.)
And once we're on the road, yes, we will keep you posted on our route. Should be fun.
