...that's how long the original battery lasted in my Tacoma.

The date of manufacture on the battery was October 2004. I took delivery of the truck on December 20 of that year.

'03 Dakota, 159K. '03 Ram 2500, 152K. Both still running original batteries (now watch 'em lick their nuts tomorrow).

Seven years and 130k of Texas heat on the Battery in my wife's FJ cruiser. It's not truly dead, I still have it in the old wagon, but it was getting flaky. Good batteries.

This one never acted up, it just up and died. I couldn't even start the truck with the charger set on boost.

2 years and whatever vatozone sells. Same goes for their alternators and axles. But I DEFINITELY take advantage of those "lifetime" warranties.

We bought the wife a new 2000 Buick LeSabre in March of that year. We traded it in October 2012 with the original battery in it. Only had 85K miles on it though.
