I always check "non-actual". If you say it's actual, and it's not, it becomes your liability.

Never thought about it that way. Now that makes it even harder to decide on going to look at it. Its not exactly a close drive.

Something seems odd. It's a 98. They got the factory gold rims, I don't think silver was an option in 98. Certainly something that could have been changed easily. Front bumper and grill don't seem right. That being said, if the body is clean, it's almost worth it just for clean shell and interior.

He may have painted them or switched with 99's. The bumper looks stock for 98, missing the foglights though. Grill is aftermarket maybe.

My first thought when I saw that car was that it was not a real RS. Still looks clean even with the boy racer BS.

The 98 has the much less desireable DOHC engine while the 99-01 has the SOHC which is much more powerful despite the same HP rating. The 00 and 01 are the good ones as they had a better air meter system, ECU and a rear LSD. A 98 is very rare as only 1000 or so were made. That car has the right bumper but the wheels should be gold. Drives much better than you would expect.

My 01 5 speed was MUCH more fun than a 2.0 WRX stock.

Has anyone else noticed that it has a ricer light on the left front, but not the right?
