I've recently noticed Mazdas with an absolutely gorgeous red--it looks like a pool of candy apple liquid you could dive into. Wish I could find out what it is...

Why not ALL the high impact colors at once lol.
The Porsche lava orange would look pretty sweet.
IH did a color in the 70s that my mom called "calf-E36 M3 yellow"
One of my all time favorites was Ford's blue from the 90s. It was just blue turned up to 11
VW Mellow Yellow looks like an opaque slab of butter. Love it.
I loved the Spectrum program that VW did in 2019. I have been liking yellows lately. This looked sharp in person. Ginster Yellow

That's a four stage paint process, there is a tinted clear that goes on between the color coat and final clear.
Part of the no metallic/pearl is taht it makes it easier and cheaper to repair when i berkeley up. Not for single stage laint, as ill probably still do base/clear
I'm a sucker for reds and Mazda had a good one in the 90s and early 00s. Classic Red, I think was the name. Early versions on Miatas didn't hold up so well but Mazda figured it out after a while. My old Protege5:
Lots of oranges in here already but here's another. VW Magma Orange:

oooo this might be a contender for my S2000.
I sprayed a panel in that on the 550 but chickened out and went sliver like everyone else in the end.
Viola Ophelia is my favorite solid hands down. This is on the edge of calling it a flake but this is the color I wanted to order at one point with the white leather

I painted the brake calipers on my last trans am that color ^. Couldn't really see them behind the CCW Classics (back before they sold out) but they were the best looking brake calipers ever lol.
Toyota has some great ones.

vW cornflower blue:
porsche viper green:
Great thread- I'm paint color shopping for my 64 mini project. Went with voodoo blue for the 62 Midget
Really didn't need to see that Porsche color site. That's ok, I can do work some other time.
With that in mind, Tahoe Blue:
