Always wanted one. Toyman still thinks I'm crazy. My 16 year old may hate me when he has to get into the backseat. However it was time to shake things up a bit.

I was married in the V6 convertible version of that car. It wasn't terrivle, but I can only imagine a roof and two extra cylinders make everything about it better. Cool ride.
Nice!!
So will the 16 y/o be borrowing mom's car?
That looks fun! My mom has always wanted a red Mustang convertible.
Very nice. I really like yellow pony cars
At the moment I don't want ANYONE but me driving it. The 16 year old doesn't stand a chance at ALL.
What was the previous Mommobile again?
In reply to Toymanswife:
My car at 16 was a '72 Mustang coupe. I've always said I'll have another Mustang someday, but still haven't. I guess I really need to work on that...
I don't think anybody can fault your choice in car.
I definitely approve I have been thinking lately it's time for another mustang in my life. I've had 3 but its been 16 years since my last.
The previous was a Jeep Liberty that I never really liked. Before that, I had a minivan that the 28 year old now drives.

Im glad you got it! I was trying to convince toyman to get one, a 2000gt convertable had served my mother very well for a daily for the past 13 years, she still loves it and im sure you will to for many years to come. I like the bullet wheels

You were married IN A MUSTANG??

If I remember the story correctly it was a rental in vegas drive through, what a wonderful way to tie the knot, only thing to make it better is if it was a v8
When are you going to deliver "donuts" to Toyman at work.
Does the traction control hinder burnout-ability? If so I'm sure someone here knows a way around it!
Very nice car, enjoy it!
In all seriousness, my mom, the recently retired government accountant, likes mustangs too.
She often had to travel for work, and got so sick of PT Cruiser rentals that she started paying out of pocket for better rentals, most often convertible Mustangs.

Theres a button that fully defeats traction control. Or wait until the abs module craps out and traction control is constantly off.
Looks sharp!
I took my drivers test in a black 00 auto GT. Loved that car. Tried to buy it when my parents got rid of it, but it wasn't in the cards. If I ever find it, I'll try again.
You don't hear much about that generations GTs, but they were decently capable cars.

It turns off with a button. And these cars are burnout machines. My friend had an auto '99 GT that would blaze the tires if asked.

This is correct on all counts. Not trying to hijack Mrs. Toyman, just thought marital bliss fit with the thread.
