Hey guys, got a weird problem on my LHS. I first noticed this issue late summer; the washer fluid just stopped squirting. The resevior has plenty of fluid, and performance of the system was fine before, nothing to suggest a clog. I didn't think much of it at the time, as I was primarily driving my Caprice, but now that winter is here, I remembered in a big way when I lovingly smeared salty crap all over my window. I am at a loss as to where I should look first. Any suggestions?

Check the pump first I guess, running through looking for a clog doesn't matter if the pump has died.
And the sheer number of google responses with replacements tells me it might happen a good bit.

Boo hiss. I should have checked the goggles, but was in the mood for human interaction. Derp.

Clearly this problem requires a rwd swap and a 318. I can't think of any other way to solve your washer fluid woes.
Better?

I just realized that my reply sounded emo, haha. Anyway, I assumed it was the pump, but I find that having a car that doesn't have a forum on the internet can make finding out little tricks much harder. Also, I am slightly lazy, and the thought of changing the pump in the cold is not appealing.

What's that about not having a forum?
when i had my 94 LHS, i got some decent (but not overly great) help at a couple of Intrepid forums. makes sense, since they are the same car with a longer wheelbase and better interior trim. they had a special section for the LHS/New Yorker and everything..
just had the same problem on my '02 GP.. check the pump
It's a mid 90's Chrysler product, I bet the pump is junk.My Neon did the same thing. Everything looked good but it didn't make any noise when you hit the switch. Literally took me 5 minutes to replace it. On the LHS, it's the same pump and it's just pressed into the bottom of the tank.
Millions of them in junkyards right now.
oughta cost 'bout $15 for replacement
