Anybody got a good date for a road trip?
Do we do one day or two?
I have a relative in the area so we can have a starting point and maybe a camp area, (just have to check) but there is a beautiful pond hidden from everything about 1/2 a mile inside his property.
Anyone going up to Mid Ohio for the Vintage GP this weekend?
Maybe, depends upon whether we are wrenching on the Challenge car

Yep, it rained for about 20 minutes here along with a bit of thunder but most of it passed by.

You lose any trees? I spent most of last night and today cleaning up my yard. My neighbor had a 100 year old tree come down that almost took out her barn, on the other end a fellows semi trailer got upended. Pretty crazy straight line winds, they were saying 90mph!
Nothing happened in BG... Not that anything ever does.
We has a bunch of trees down, minor damage, some houses had significant damage, we got some, one of our trees, a big un, exploded.
Power is out for as long as 2 weeks
We got hit pretty hard. To the south was hail and higher winds...freaky little storm.
We got wind and rain. We did not have any trees down, just a lot of branches and such though a couple of the branches were like 6 to 8 inch in diameter.

When are we going to do something again? I'm needing to get out, haha.
I am travelling south on 75 as I type this but will be back in 2 weeks.

Drink a few brews?
Oh and power back on after 6 days. The shop is still without power

Thinking about the ALMS, but we're getting ready for the '13 launch-curve at work. Schedule could be a bit funky for awhile.
July 27-29 is the vintage weekend at Waterford Hills. Thinking about heading up Saturday for the 2.5 Trans-Am race.

If I can make it, I will definitely look you up. Haven't been to the Hills in a few years.
Waterford vintage sounds like a good time. I'll look for the Astro on Saturday.
Any other Ohioans hitting the Redbull GP at Indy this year? I'm headed up on Saturday, Aug 18th in order to catch the qualifications, and watch the Harley race.
Anybody looking to come to Auburn at the end of the month.
