You show two different flow diagrams in your picture. This confuses the heck out of me as I am trying to fit AC to the Molvo based on the Miata parts and a ford compressor and dont know which flow diagram I should follow. I THINK it is the one on the right.

Left is CCOT system, right is CCTXV system. OP has a CCTXV system (sight glass in Receiver drier is givaway.
NoHome- if I recall, Miata uses a CCTXV system, where the drier appears between the condenser and the TXV (frequently TXV is directly mounted to the Evaporator.) In tis event, use th RH diagram
Dr. Hess said:I will also point out how DuPont got its start in this country. The Brothers escaped France before being beheaded during the revolution, stepped off the boat in the US and were handed a million dollars (a considerable sum in those days) to start a black powder factory for the US Government.
I was having a look into this and I cannot find where the US government gave DuPont a million dollars - the closest I could find to any hint of government assistance is the fact that Mr. DuPont was good buddies with Alexander Hamilton who had a reputation for arranging "deals" between the early US government and his good ol' boys club.
It seems that the DuPont company was founded with tactics that would be surprisingly familiar to us today: A healthy pile of inherited wealth to start with, creating a "killzone" around the company with aggressive acquisitions of competitors, and shuffling money through international hidey-holes.
